Our articles on Roman Catholicism elicit passionate responses from a lot of people--Catholics and professing Christians alike. The following e-mail is from one of our readers named Tara. Tara was reared Lutheran and had recently joined the Catholic religion when she visited this website. She wrote and we exchanged a number of e-mails over time. Tara is now saved, attending a Bible-believing church and Bible study. People like this young lady make all the slurs and put downs worthwhile. It's been neat to see how the Lord is doing a work in her.

I compare [him] to myself, when I was studying the Catholic religion and thought it was the right way for me to go, I prayed to God EVERY night to tell me if it was the right way or not. Exactly one week after I converted (last April) I read your homepage on how Catholics aren't Christian. I felt a huge pit in [my] stomach. God told me then and there what I was doing was not acceptable, and I got out of the religion!! I know God led me to your homepage and to the truth!!
