Nehemiah 9:20 John 16:13 Revelations 2:7

One of the most important things that faces the Christian in any age is Knowledge, or a valid Epistemology. We could attend the greatest of Universities and schools of advanced learning, attain degree after degree in such glamorous fields as psychology, psychiatry, law, medicine, finance business etc. When we complete our studies, do we truly have knowledge, or are we merely intellectuals without enough common sense to find our way out of a corner without a map? If this is the case, and our brains have been short circuted, where do we turn for true knowledge? What should be the source of knowledge, and by whom should we be taught?

The State will tell you that for true knowledge your children should be taught in the hailstorm of the public school system. You know, this is where Bible reading and prayer have been outlawed and sex education classes of lesbianism and homosexuality have taken over. Your children will be thoroughly. educated in a Humanist environment, taught mans law and science (including evolution). There will be no Theist influence over their moral, political or economic indoctrination. If you leave your children in this system and try to fight it and change it, you could very well end up in one of the states finest prisons. If you don’t like the system of State education, where do you turn? Is there a reliable source for true knowledge and mans education?

John 14:26 & Actsl:8, Jesus is speaking with the Apostles here and His words received their first fulfillment in them,as they became so filled and controlled by the Holy Spirit that their writings were without error, thus making their proclaiming of the gospel flawless. The second fulfillment has been in the Christian age, by men whom he had called to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of GOD. These men had no new revelations but were enlightened by the Holy Spirit that the truth of GOD had been faithfully taught them, to be dispensed by them. The third fulfillment and widest application of enlightenment and teaching by GOD the Holy Spirit is to those who make up the whole House of Israel, the house-hold of Faith.

Isaiah 54:13, John 6:45,I John 2:20-27; One of the most distinguishing marks of the regenerated believer is that he/she has been taught by GOD the Holy Spirit. Before continuing we want to clarify several instances of supposedly intelligent people:

1-There are many unregenerate religionists who are well taught in the letter of scripture.

2-There are many who are well versed in the historical facts and the doctrines of Christianity.

3. There are many preachers who abhor the modernists and outwardly they too appear to earnestly contend for the faith. These are the ones who are educated in the Bible Institutes and the Theological seminaries. Their intellectual knowledge of those thing spiritual is considerable and sound,(intellectually speaking that is).This knowledge which they possess walks on its own, unaccompanied by heavenly unction, transforming effects or Saving Power. It is carried  from day to day on feet of clay and resides on a foundation of shifting sand.

It is at this point in time where we must test our own selves and do a microscopic survey of what we were taught and where, and by whom. For example, say you were raised a Presbyterian from child-hood and taught under the Westminster Confession of Faith. Is your Knowledge of what that Confession taught through simple tradition or, was the one who brought it to you filled of the Holy Spirit? This is it folks, the time is now for each and every professing Christian to carefully examine their educational background.

It is true beyond a doubt that God the Holy Spirit is Sovereign, for He is God. He works where and when He pleases, using the source and resources which He wills. This is why we say that the human instrument must not be left out of the teaching process. At times, the Holy Spirit frequently uses ways and means and things in teaching which to some appear feeble. If so, what better way to show His Power. One thing that we must conclude in studying the teaching and learning part of the work of the Holy Spirit is that no amount of preaching or teaching will ever produce any vital results unless God the Holy Spirit blesses it and applies it to the heart of the individual, ICor 2:13-16!

Question: How may I know that my teachings have been done by the Holy Spirit? The simple yet sufficient answer is, “You will tell, by the effects produced.” That knowledge which the Spirit gives is not to be stored, it is that spark, which stirs the soul into action, it is called operative knowledge. II Cor 4:5-6, If we preach Christ Jesus the Saviour, it is not a message that we knew or learned on our own,it was placed ther by Yahweh to shine forth in due season, after it had warmed our hearts and then the hearts of others. ICor 8:1-2, Intellectual knowledge causes ones head to swell with pride and his heart to follow after false hoods. That which is taught by God The Holy Spirit is a knowledge that causes the heart to be humble. It reveals to man his conceits,his ignorance and his worthlessness.

Lets read the words of the evangelist of whom it was said, “Among those born of women, none was greater than John the Baptist”. John 1:26-27 Only God the Holy Spirit could have taught John this humbling fact. And then, in the case of Paul whom the Baptists even refer to as Saint, Eph 3:8-10, The man Paul, said by many in the Theological world to be the chief among the Apostles, Paul says that he is less than the least of the Saints. Now is the time dear Christian for the question we must all ask ourselves,,, How much has the teaching of the Holy Spirit which I have received, humbled me? Am I as Paul? Do I see my self as the least of the Saints?”Father, help me in my time of struggle with self. Philippians 3:4-9, The Knowledge which we attain from the Holy Spirits teaching should cause us to scorn the world. Where the Spirit reveals eternal things, temporal things are then despised. We will see the earthly honors, fame and riches as being worthless, as we are caused to conceive the world as a flatterer, a deceiver, liar and murderer which has deceived the hearts of many. The Holy Spirit raises up the heart and holds it high above a distraught world that perishes daily.

The Holy Spirit in teaching us gives us a knowledge which transforms us. We are caused to deny worldly lusts, to live soberly, righteously and God-like in this world Titus 2:12 & II Cor 3:17-18. I will put my laws on their inward parts and write it in their hearts. There is none but the Spirit of truth, God the Holy Spirit, who can indelibly ink God’s laws into a place in our hearts. This means that He sanctifies you with God’s truth as He stamps the image of YAHWEH upon your soul. Ecclesiasties 3:14, What YAHWEH does, it shall last forever-what He writes on our hearts remains. There can be nothing added to or taken from any thing that YAHWEH does or says. No law of man can effect the law which God writes in our hearts. The teachings of the Holy Spirit will be ever constant, which means that our lives will have a stability which we have never known. No more will our lives, as His children, be tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine.

Have you ever stopped to ask yourself, “Why is it that so many fall into such despair and depression in times of death of a loved, one or in times of great temptation?” The answer may lie in Matthew 7:26-27. If our house of faith is not founded on the solid Rock which is Christ Jesus it will not withstand testing. The Sand will shift and the house will fall, the heart will grow faint and the Spirit will weaken. If you build your Spiritual house on head knowledge you are building on sand, if you build on heart knowledge you build on rock. The difference being, head knowledge comes from man, while heart knowledge is from the teachings of GOD the Holy Spirit. The family of Lazarus is a good example of head knowledge, John 11:11-15&21-24&32-33. The situation didn’t remain this way though. After Jesus had called for Lazarus to “Come Forth”, and he did just that, heart knowledge was established in them. This is the same work that is being done by the Comforter whom He sent, He being Yahweh the Father, John 14:26. Head knowledge thru traditional teachings by man will only lead to victory over physical things. When we are made to submit to the teachings of the Holy Spirit, we will conquer all things. Heb 9:27, all men die, but do not despair, for if you have come under the Holy Spirit you will live again, in eternity. Now you say that you are in need of instruction about where the soul and spirit journey go at death. Eccl 3:17-21 & 12:7; The spirit of man goes upward, or shall return to or unto YAHWEH who gave it (Gen 2:7). From past studies we know that man and Adam are synonomous terms and that Adam is Hebrew for the I.D. or identification of the elect family of God in the earth which is the race that is "Ruddy complected, able to blush, to turn Rosy or show color in the face" (#119 #120 & #121 from Strongs Exhaustive concordance of the Hebrew, Greek and Chaldee). This is the Caucasian, Anglo-Saxon and Kindred people, this is Adam kind Creation. Adam-Kind has the living soul which reverts back to Yahweh/God. Take solace in this and with I Cor 15:51-58, Death is swallowed up in victory, the Victory of the Spirit. The sting of death is sin, and all have sinned and come short of the glory of God-Rom 3:23. Yet, the Holy Spirit assures us through teachings of the scripture that the grave holds no victory over God’s Elect.

Romans 7:13, the teaching here is blunt and to the point. I have a sinful soul before the Holy Spirit does His work on me. When He convicts me of sin, He makes me aware that I am a rebel against God because I am in rebellion as a sinner against God’s Law. No good and true teaching of the Holy Spirit is accomplished because of some new or secret revelation for there have been no such new things. Special revelation closed with the completion of what we know as scripture. The Holy Spirit adds to mans knowledge by what we may term as “Mysteriously Operating” on his heart, so man is able to see that revelation already given. The Elect does not need another law, only the lifting of the vail from the eyes, so we may see and know the law Yahweh has given in the past at Sinai. We do not need another gospel, we need to lift the darkness of sin so that we may see and hear the true preaching of the Gospel, II Cor 3:1, ICor 2:14 Head knowledge is for the natural man who cannot and will not know the things of God. Psalm 119:18 ICor 2:1-5 the Holy Spirit will make it possible for us to search out the things of God.

We must possess True heart knowledge if we are to bring the Gospel of the Kingdom to the Israelites in America today. We must never rely upon ourselves, rather we must pray to be enlightened in truth by God the Holy Spirit. Sure, we can speak to others first hand of our own trials,and exploits, but if the Holy Spirit is not there to lift the veil from unseeing eyes and circumcise the heart, unbelief prevails. All Christians need to take care that it is the Holy Spirit who rules in their personal lives, lest they experience a power failure in knowledge. We have no authority to accuse of sin in others, as there is sin in our own lives. The Holy Spirit thru His teaching accuses of sin and convicts the sinner, thus causing truth to be seen and known.

As Christians, we should pray without ceasing that wisdom and knowledge from the Holy Spirit enlightens us so that we may continue to seek more truth. This attitude gives us the inside road to achieve what philosophers and the scientific field have sought after for ages, truth and knowledge. When we begin to live in the teachings of God the Holy Spirit, I firmly believe that the text of Ezekiel 36:24-38. will, be applied in our lives. Praise Father Son and Holy Spirit.

Our prime motive and function in life should be in preaching Christ Crucified,  and done in such a way as  to magnify Him; ICor 1:23, Luke 1:46, Philippians 1:20, Revelations 5:13. The supreme subject of teaching and of learning in the realm of the Christian Church community is Christ Jesus. The claims of Christ are to be emphasized, His person exalted and His Perfection is to be revealed in power and might. There are many beautiful things in nature that become more beautiful as some light is applied upon them. So it is With Jesus Christ in the light of the Holy Spirits teaching. Through out our lives, the Spirit continues to instruct and we continue to learn, and scripture such as Romans 7:15-18 make it clear what and how we are when apart from Christ Jesus. We are taught that when we are quickened/made alive by the Holy Spirit, we are then led by the indwelling of that same Spirit, and scripture tells us we are the Sons of GOD,Romans 8:10-14!

Today we pray to YAHWEH, through the power of the Holy Spirit and in the name of Christ Jesus that He rule over our lives and that the Spirit indwells us causing us to know and seek after the beauty of Holiness, which is reverance, perserverance, inward piety and a militant stance against evil. We ask for that spiritual eye that we may see that which is revealed for us. Amen.
