     POWER IN THE WORD

As we consider this subject, there is ‘power in the word,’ we turn to the book of Romans.  And you start summing this up with the words of the Apostle Paul. And he makes this statement to the church, that the will of God is Mighty.  ‘It is in my mouth, and in my heart and in the word of Faith.  The word of God is nigh unto me even in my mouth and in my heart, and this is the word of Faith.’

            Following this passage we turn back to the book of Matthew, and there God speaks out and he makes this declaration:--"Man cannot live by bread alone."  These are the words of YAHSHUA (JESUS): “Man cannot live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”

            In the book of Hebrews, we discover the attributes of Faith and the word of God.  And it tells us that 'Faith comes by hearing the word of God.’  And we understand that Faith is the substance of all things most precious.  It is the evidence of all things not seen.  Therefore it is by Faith that we can understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God.  So that things as are seen with the natural eye are not made of things which do appear.

            As we move into the realm of antiquity in the book of John, he tells us that 'THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US." And this is the word Logas in the Greek, and also in the Aramaic.  And it talks about the mythical thoughts and capacity of the mind of the Eternal.  God who is the same yesterday and forever. God, who established by the majesty of his being His universe, He therefore, in the thoughts of his mind, transcends all other thoughts. For there is no thought that God does not have a factor for.  There is no area of wisdom or truth, that is separated from the purposes of God's mind. As God raised a household of his spirit, the thoughts of his mind would come. And of course as he transferred His family from heaven to earth into the Adamic mind then this was separated when Adam fell.  Then God came again before Adam and told him that the seed of the woman would still bruise the head of the serpent.  He also told him that he would raise up wise men to seek HIM and to carry His word.  But the fact is that the word of God came as a unique situation to this child of the spirit from the spiritual mind of God. Therefore, there are some people who do not have any capacity to understand these things.  Jesus talking to the Jews in Jerusalem said, 'You cannot understand my speech, so you cannot hear my words.  There is no capacity of Faith that can work inside of your minds, or inside of your heart. You have no way of understanding these mysteries of which I speak for you are of your father the devil.’

            This is a clear factor, for the children of the Most High God are the recipient of His spirit. They can be effectively guided by His mind and His purpose.

            Now we understand that the word of God covered all things.  It not only covered all activity, but it covered the building of His kingdom. It covered the utilization of His covenants and the power of His name. He gave the power of His word to his children, for his word never returns to Him void.  It may be determined how far it can differ in men who depend on the word of God. This is what transpired in their background or history which could depend on the word of God.

            More than this as we set our natural bodies upon truth.  Our natural bodies can eat meat or the things provided for them.  But this cannot feed the spirit.  The mind of the spirit has to be fed with the knowledge and wisdom which keeps it alive.  Where as the spirit of God is Eternal.  And there is sufficient of it to reach the minds of his children.  God made it quite clear that as they thought and followed his steps, they would produce the life of the kingdom. And with this in mind then Jesus made this statement to the Apostles and the children around HIM that 'you cannot hear it by just bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of Christ.’ 

And in the book of Deuteronomy, we find that the purpose of God is again revealed. Here it talks about the commandments that He has given them this day, that they should take them and magnify them and ye will possess the land that YAHWEH has given to your fathers.  And ye shall make known unto them that YAHWEH BROUGHT THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF Egypt, and he fed them on manna.  But ye shall make known unto them, that man shalt not live by bread alone, but by every word out of the mouth of YAHWEH, and men doeth this so that men shall live.

            Now, this is the second place in Deuteronomy that this is stated. And YAHWEH permitted them to get hungry so that he could impress upon them what he was to say.  Of course, today we have men saying that of course, this was not new for manna had come down in India and other places.  But they can never tie it to anything, and they don't know why or how it came.  But it did come to Israel and is thus recorded. And they sighted that man cannot live by bread alone.  But the words out of God's mouth were sufficient to supply food to Israel when they were in need. There is no situation that cannot be met when they come to the word and the power of God.  In the 68th Psalm, you are told that God went forth before his people, and the earth was touched, and even Sinai was moved by his presence.  But YAHWEH gave David the word before it comes to pass, and great are those who publish it.  For when God gave his word the Chariots of God appeared out of the heavens. Twenty thousands times thousands of his saints were among them as they made Mount Sinai their resting place.  The chariots came and went from Mount Sinai where HE had established his headquarters, for the LORD had given His word. And whatsoever he had purposed he had purposed before the foundation of the world.

            Let us remember that Peter tells us that we have a more sure word of prophecy, because it is the literal word of God. He does not adjust His word to satisfy people.  There is a mystical quality about the word of God.  The word of God can appear in form, the word of God can appear in action. The Word of God can touch on all things.  Out of the mouth of God comes the intensity of his word.  And with the children of God when they hear the word, then their faith grows and they begin to put into operation the things that the word of God has said. Therefore by Faith then God exists. Therefore Faith comes from hearing the word of God, and Faith then is a byproduct of God's spirit, upon men.

            Thus, then we are told that Faith is that substance which is hoped for thru the word. Hoped for because God said it is coming to pass.  Therefore, as it is hoped for then it is the evidence of things not yet seen. But is just as much tangible to the individual because he is an offspring of YAHWEH (God). And he feeds his spiritual body by the word of God. Therefore as he approves it then he becomes absolutely sure of these things. A child of God is absolutely sure that every word that comes out of the mouth of God is absolutely true. And we have a lot of casualties today who do not understand the mysteries of these things.  Those who are casualties never became fully aware they never find the security that the Household of God obtain, and they do not understand the fulfillment of His word and his promises. And as you see these situations come to pass we can say that we understand for we have faith.  And Faith in God is powerful.

            And in the past people came to Jesus because out of his mouth came the word of God.  They came to hear the word of God, and the people pressed around him, to hear the word of God. And the word of God did come from HIM . . . and it shocked some people.  And this was one of the amazing things of that time.

            "In the beginning was the Word of God, and the Word was God, and in the beginning was God. All things were made by him.  And not anything that was made was not of him. He was the light and that light was the light of Men.”  And in this 14th chapter, it says “The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.  And we beheld his glory as one begotten of the Father in the center of Grace and truth.”

            Now, the essence of this declaration is that this is the Logos and the words coming out of the Aramaic speaks of the absolute sovereignty of the words spoken by the Most High God. This is not changed it is fixed for all times.  Therefore, everything that God thought about and everything that he said is Omnipotence.  And it is clear from the wisdom of God's word. 

As you turn again into the book of Romans, it says: Therefore the Word is nigh unto thee even in thy heart. And this is the Word of Faith.

            Over in the book of Colossians, it tells you that whatsoever you can do in the name of YAHSHUA or Jesus, and be thanks unto God, that you can do this.  For this is one of the areas of wisdom and of mystery.

Then turn to the book of Timothy.  And he speaks out and he says now therefore if thy brethren in remembrance of these things, then with this faith in YAHSHUA your spiritual body begins to glow and your faith gets stronger.  And your spiritual mind takes over more actively in your soul consciousness.  And even the brain of man becomes a powerful force, because he has been able to draw on the spirit of God for the food of his spiritual life. So this is told to us by Timothy as he tries to assure us of the power of the Word of the living God.

Then he goes on in this declaration and says, that we are not laboring in vain because we trust in the Living God who is the savior of all men and especially of those that believe.

            Now, we turn to the book of Hebrews.  And in the first chapter we read, ‘God, who has at times and in divers manners has spoken in the past to our fathers, by the prophets, has now spoken unto us in these last days by his embodiment, by whom he has made all things, and by whom he has made all of the earth, to be in the brightness of His Glory and in the express image of His person. Opposed all things by the word of his power. 

The great determined wisdom and knowledge belongs to God embodied in the manifestation of he whom you know as YAHSHUA the Christ. He is the expressed invisible God. He has all things upheld by his power and transferred by His spirit to the spirit of His children. All power, of what so ever things that ye need to do.

            Now, this is the word in the book of Hebrews that this being especially as to His glory, and now all things by the Word of His power.  Also in this book of Hebrews, then we find that this Word of God is more powerful than a two edged sword. And it is able to pierce and divide asunder the soul and the spirit, and the joints and the marrow, and the thoughts and intents of the heart.  Therefore, there is no creature that is not manifested in his sight, because the word of God has not only spoken of this pattern from the beginning . . . for he has predetermined and predestinated the course of his children.  And in all of these things we are totally dependent upon the word of God.  In fact, we are the people who no longer look upon the Word and decide if it is true, but we accept the Word because it is true. We accept it because we believe it is true. And we have no other position as we grow in power and in knowledge because we have accepted the mysteries of the Word of God.

            Then turn back to the book of Hebrews, and in the eleventh chapter, we find that this Faith is everything that we had hoped for and is the evidence of things not true.  We find that in our intelligence and purpose, we have accepted a plan that is in the word of God and we are participating in it.  You are not only participating in it, but you accept it and you are working to bring in the kingdom, and these prophecies of God.  These things that are the perception of the wisdom of the Most High.  And then you understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things that were seen were not made of things as they do appear.

            We turn over to the book of James.  And it says that because we know the power of God, because we, by faith as children, are occupying his kingdom.  Because we work against the agents and powers of darkness.  Then it says resist the devil and he will flee from you. How do you do that?  You have authority over the devil when you utilize the name of the LORD.  You use that authority of the Word of God and you dispense these forces of evil. 

James goes farther in this, for he says, you get Faith by hearing the word of God.  And you get Faith by hearing this word of God . . . for you believe it. 

There are people today who do not believe the word of God, for they lack something.  They lack equality, which is very vital and essential to the program of God's kingdom. So the prayer of Faith shall save the sick. The LORD shall raise him up and if he has committed any sins they shall be forgiven him.  How? --By the word.  Therefore you have faith by the word and you can say, that the prayer of the Faith shall save the sick and God will raise him up.  How can any transgression by him be forgiven?---By the power of the WORD.

            II Peter: ---here it talks about the capacity of the Christian to be guided by the Word of God. And it says:--this is the question?  What is the promise of his coming?  They think that all things continue as they were in the beginning, so says some of this generation.  And for this, they are willingly ignorant.  For the word of God says that the heavens were of old and the earth was standing in the water and out of the water. Whereby, the world, that then was being overflowed with water, perished. And whatsoever that God prophesied and said concerning these things, happened.  For that world which was overflowed with water, then perished. And the world that now is---this world is reserved for the judgment day and position of ungodly men. And the world shall know that such elements shall be melted by fervent heat, and that a thousand years may be as a day before the Most High in your time.  But HIS WORD is absolutely sure.

            Therefore we say that the LORD is not slack concerning His promises, as some men count slack.  But to us, it is worrisome.  For we wish that all men should come to these promises.  The word of the Lord then fulfills the climactic day of the LORD in the things that he is going to bring to pass.

            "But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also, and the works therein shall be burned up."  But apparently the children of God are not listed here for this judgment.  For the kingdom of God is on earth just as the kingdom

of Darkness and the kingdom of God moves toward righteousness. This because the Word of God has been declared unto them and been received.

            Every once in a while we receive this question.  How do you know that the Word of God is true?  Well, we learn to believe His Word, and his truths, and we trust in them, and live in Faith.  Therefore, we learn to believe his judgments, his wrath and his catastrophe, and His Glory.  We believe these things, and they have been fulfilled as prophecy.  And we see that they are true.  If you could prove to the unbeliever that the Word of God is true, then he would be able to develop a capacity that he does not have.

            But for this cause, I want you to know that the day is going to come when every knee is going to bow and every tongue confess.  The day is going to come when every voice is going to speak out and declare that Christ is King--without any question.  Because this is also in line with the teaching of God: --that before Jesus--or YAHSHUA, THEN EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW, AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL PROCLAIM.

            An example of this Word of God is shown in the third book of Exodus when Moses was seeking answers from Jethro, his father-in-law.  And the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of the bush. And he beheld that the bush burned.  But the bush was not consumed. So Moses turned aside to see this strange sight, for a bush was burning but was not consumed. And as he approached this bush then he heard someone calling him:---Moses--and the voice came from the midst of the bush.  And Moses said, "Hear am I."  And the voice said, “Take off thy shoes, for the place you are standing is holy ground.”  The essence of God's spirit had surrounded the place. And the select dynamic influence of the place was so great that Moses could not have stood in the presence of God, without being properly grounded at that point. So Moses took off his shoes, and he heard the voice say, “I am YAHWEH thy Father.  I am the YAHWEH of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”  And Moses hid his face for he was afraid. 

And HE said, “I have heard the affliction of my people in Egypt.  I have heard their cry.  I have known their taskmasters, and I have known of their sorrows. I knew of them before they happened. And I am now down here to deliver them out of the hands of those in Egypt.  I am going to take them to the land of the Canaanites, to the place of the Hitties, and the Amorites, the Perezites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. I am going to take their land from them who afflict my people. I am going to take it out of the hands of these evil people. And I am sending you unto my people.  And thou will be blessed, and shall say God is upon this mountain.”

            Moses spoke up, and he said, ‘how shall I do this?  When I come to this people, shall I not say the God of your fathers hath sent me unto you, and when they say what is his name, then what shall I say unto them?’  And the Eternal said unto Moses,---"I am that which I am."  And in Hebrew this meant:--'I am the God of yesterday and tomorrow.  I am the sovereign God."  This is the proper translation.  ---This, you say to them:--'I am the God of yesterday and tomorrow.  I am the Almighty Eternal God.' And to Moses he said, --'Tell them that this Eternal God hath sent thee.'  And then he also said unto Moses,--'Say to the Children of Israel, I am the God of yesterday, tomorrow and of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to all generations.  And you tell them that I will bring an affliction upon the Canaanites and all with them.’  For you see this was in his word, all before the foundation of the world.  And all is being brought to fulfillment thru Moses.

            Moses said, ‘I will do this, but they will not harken unto me.’  But YAHWEH SAID: “YES, THEY SHALL HARKEN UNTO THEE.”  And then he tells him of the miracles which he (Moses) will be able to do such as the rod in his hand turning into a serpent and then back into a rod in his hand.  And by this, they will believe that YAHWEH of thy fathers is with thee. And if they do not believe thee, then the waters of the rivers shall become as a flood upon dry land.  And Moses said, ‘Oh, YAHWEH, thy servant is slow of speech and slow of tongue.’  But YAHWEH said, “Who hath made thee?  Is it not my words in thy mouth?  It is not your words in your mouth.  I don't care that you cannot speak eloquently.  It is my words that you shall speak.”  And so it was that judgment came upon the land of Egypt.  And Moses and his brother Aaron went to Egypt and they spoke to the Pharaoh.  And they spoke to the people.  And when they heard them, they bowed their heads, and they listened. 

So thus it was.  It was the essence of his word, the contact of this word that he had bestowed upon Moses and Aaron. Thus this is Faith and the operations of Faith, for His kingdom. God is long silent on the power of God to take away afflictions, to take away cares and problems of his people, if THEY BELIEVE HIS WORD.  If they believe His word, then their endless problems will be removed from them as far as the east is from the west.  And as far as your transgressions are concerned, then God speaks his word and he speaks with authority.

            And in the book of Revelation, we turn to the people who have kept his word, and who move by the power of his word.  And still sometimes the people move outside of these words and factors, because they do not recognize that the Words of God is inside of you and is still for you to claim.  The word of God is for you the sons and daughters to use.  This word of God is for your protection in the hour of emergency.  The word of God shall see America thru.  And not only is this true, but the children of America have the Faith to believe every word that comes out of the mouth of God.  And they believe that it will be fulfilled. This does not eliminate you from defending your home and battling the enemy. But it gives you the capacity to know that those of your household with you will come thru this battle.  For God did not stop the enemy from battling Israel, but he gave them the victory.  He brought forth victory by the hands of his household for this is the very word of God.  The word of God has operated thru out the vast creations and sidereal systems.  And we stand amazed at the beauty of it.  And all of these things, the atoms and such are brought together by the word of God. And we thus understand that the world was made by the Word of God. And we also understand that the new world will also be made by the Words of your mouth.  And the children---you and I---shall participate.  And we shall have absolute victory. 

God says, “In my Word is the astonishment of the enemy, and in my word shall the powers of darkness fail.  And in my word and thru my word, the devil will flee as you resist him in the utilization of the word, in MY name.”

            And we want to point out to you that thru the word of God, and in the name of God, as you point out every vital factor of the design of the enemy to destroy to the benefit of the design of God and His Grace.  And you have the authority to quote and explain the name of God and the word of God.

So when we talk about the word of God, we are talking about something tangible. We are talking about something more aged than the hills.  We are talking about something more vital than man can conceive. But it is the promise of the Eternal Father made known unto you.
