Welcome to the Priory of Salem
The Priory of Salem is a theological and cultural institute focused on Celtic Orthodox restoration, religious liberty, and international peace advocacy. As a school of the Orthodox Church of the Culdees, we offer education, training, and spiritual support rooted in the Hebrew-Christian tradition and guided by apostolic succession.
Our Core Areas of Study
We serve through four active institutes. Explore each to discover ongoing publications, courses, and member engagement:
Feasts, Festivals & Pilgrimage
The Priory coordinates three pilgrimage crusade events per year, often with feast-day celebrations in Glastonbury, the Ozarks, Cologne, Chartres, and Jerusalem. These are deeply spiritual gatherings tied to both historic and prophetic acts of worship. Learn about pilgrimage etiquette & purpose.
Education & Certificates
Certificate programs are awarded on a case-by-case basis to those who demonstrate completion of study, published work, or clerical achievement. These may be granted through our institutes based on:
- Clergy and deacon training (2-year minimum studies canon)
- Life credit, resume, and ministry records
- Thesis submission or publication
- Recognition by ordination, lineage, or sacramental work
Holy Orders & Community Roles
The Priory maintains honorary and functional orders for service in our broader mission. These are optional designations for those advancing the cause of peace, heritage, and spiritual restoration. Explore our Holy Orders.
