The Brunswick Grand Commandery of the Knights Templar admits members under four primary pathways, preserving traditional medieval structures and adhering to international norms of lawful sovereignty under a recognized Fons Honorum.
Applicants with proven noble descent and a demonstrable link to Christian military or noble traditions may be granted full knighthood upon review by the heraldic council.
Those without noble lineage but who demonstrate exceptional merit, moral standing, and contributions to faith, charity, or scholarship may be admitted on recommendation.
Organizations or other Templar Commanderies may receive a Charter of Sovereign Protection from the Grand Commandery, thereby coming under the aegis of a valid sovereign Fons Honorum. This formalizes mutual recognition and alignment with true Templar traditions.
A traditional category reflecting medieval subinfeudation, allowing auxiliary participation with potential for elevation upon merit or service. This includes scholars, clerics, craftsmen, or affiliated supporters of the Order’s mission.
